Taipei's railway #2/2

I was silly enough to think that this is an abandoned railway, and thus happily walked on it all the way to my destination. Moments later i saw a train ran on it. I think i was cursing and swearing in my head as i saw it go by.

I spent quite a while composing the angle for this shot. Don't think i would have been able to get out of harm's way should i have met the train schedule. Hurhur. Talk about carelessness!

thankfully you had this shot before the train came!
love this low angle composition!
the contrast of straight neat lines of the rails and orgainzed repeating curves of the pins holding down the rails with the messy disorganized gravel is way cool!
like the perspective here too!

very ordered shot. the lines, the depth of field, the composition, beautiful.. and very romantic.. theres just something very special about walking along the railway track =)

@simon: hi simon, i agree. the romanticism factor is what distinguishes the railway from the MRT! :) personally, i feel that this is a very simple shot - i just took a snapshot of what i saw - the beauty of the railway is reflected in the details itself - theres just so much to see!
